Chiaki Hara was born and raised in Osaka, Japan. She moved to San Diego with her family after finishing high school in her home town Takatsuki. Starting photography was discovering new world for her. New cultures, new friends, discovering new persona to herself. With limited verbal communication skill, photography was such a simple way to express what she loved. Currently she lives in NYC and Catskills with her husband Brandon Schulman.
